Welcome to Big School

Life is Big School. We are learning every day.
Learning life skills from each other, sharing with each other.
Learning in a way that promotes confidence, self-esteem & retention.

My name is Andy Morse and I am a Laser Level 3

Helen-Arkell-trained tutor who has lived in the Bourne (near Farnham on the Surrey / Hampshire border) since moving from London in 2002. I also have my own retail business and am an ECB Level 2 & Schools Cricket Coach.

I have been tutoring local children, teenagers and adults in numeracy, literacy and selected syllabus topics on a part-time basis since 2014 and have also had teaching experience in South Farnham & Beacon Hill School.

As someone who suffers from occasional depression, anxiety and PTSD, I have developed teaching methods and resources designed to be fun and engaging to anyone experiencing similar. My specialist interest is in assisting students with Dyspraxia, which I have myself. Our motto is 'Life is Big School. We're learning every day.' This website was built by us all.

I am not currently taking on any new 'regular' students but if you are interested to have a chat about yourself or your child then I am very happy to do that. Either on Zoom or socially distanced. Please contact me via this website.

'Welcome to Big School' is an Alan Partridge trademark comment

from the 2013 hit film 'Alpha Papa' and completely appropriate

to the content and context of this website - i.e. life is big school.
